Rosemary Kempton has written a lovely article about me and my life’s work of photography, published on the front page of the Arts & Entertainment section of the Napa Valley Register, April 19, 2012. The article is titled, “The world through his lens: Napa photographer of French descent tries to uplift people.”
In the article, Kempton discusses how, through the art of photography, I give … Read more »
I just worked with the most beautiful couple, Marcie and Augie, who married at The gorgeous Citizen Hotel. This exclusive, boutique hotel is located in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The cosmopolitan venue suited the couple's personalities very well. Both the ceremony and the reception were held in a gorgeous, enclosed, rooftop location with spectacular views of the sunset as well as the California Capital. The views were breathtaking from every angle.
Just the word, “elope” evokes thoughts of a clandestine meeting by the old oak tree to run-off with a secret lover to marry. My mind reels and my heart skips a beat. In the old days, a couple would elope if they were running away from something or someone…
These days, elopements happen all the time, and the definition of the word itself has changed. … Read more »
With the influx of amazing photographic technology available to anyone who can afford the luxury, so comes the influx of amateur photographers doing the work of professionals. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love that so many people have taken photography to be their new passion, but not anyone can do professional work, even though they may own a professional camera. I was fortunate to be chosen as the photographer for the very exclusive wedding of a couple from Philadelphia, at Cline Vineyards, and it was absolutely stunning. The groom proposed in Paris, and they decided to have a Wine Country wedding with a French theme. It was breathtaking.

Julia and Kevin’s wedding at Vintner’s Golf Club in Yountville was so much fun, I just had to write about it and share the photographs. The couple now lives in Flat Rock, Michigan, but they both grew up in the Bay Area. We just had the most amazing newly wed photography session in San Francisco with an adorable couple. It was a combined newly wed shoot as well as a Trash-the-Dress shoot. And wow, did we have a great day.
During one of the longest, most gorgeous days of June, I was privileged to photograph Abby and Loren’s stunning wedding at Relais du Soleil.
This spectacular wedding venue in Glen Ellen is nestled in Nuns Canyon, at the base of the Mayacamas, the mountain range that separates Napa from Sonoma. The 120 acre country estate is a natural paradise, complete with a turn-of-the-century farm … Read more »
I was so lucky to have a young couple from Malaysia who work in Singapore contact me for engagement photography. They came to the states on business, and they decided to have their engagement photographs taken in San Francisco before returning home to the far east for their wedding.
We decided to use Bay Area landmarks as our backdrop as well as walls covered in … Read more »
This past June I was hired to photograph the wedding of Amaryah and Jake in Connecticut. The ceremony and the reception were held at The Mill on The River, an incredible historic site. The location was absolutely gorgeous. An abondoned grist mill from the 1700’s has been rebuilt into a restaurant and events site. The historic nature of the site brought a palpable dimension … Read more »
