My friendship with the Murphy Family started when I met them at The Stone Bridge School.   For their family portraits photography, they wanted something very natural, nothing posed to capture the spirit and innocence of the children.  So did the photo shoot here at my home studio in Napa Valley surrounded by eucalyptus trees, a creek and beautiful hillsides.  We allowed the kids to romp and explore in nature – I took all the shots candidly while the entire family played together.  The entire family went home with a ton of branches, flowers, leafs and other mementos and continued playing at home with art projects made from nature!
